Researcher in Business.

Furnace Engineering recently completed a Researcher-In-Business program in conjunction with Swinburne University.  The goal of the program was to benchmark design techniques and tools used by the engineering team at the company, and to develop improvements in CAD methodology.

The program was successful, with meaningful changes to design methods being adopted, and the researcher Cain Hillier, a recent graduate from Swinburne’s Engineering Faculty, has now joined Furnace Engineering as a member of the design team and to implement the recommendations from the report.
